Moss and black film build up on concrete and pavers over a Canterbury winter, which is what makes paths and driveways slippery when wet. A water blast takes the surface back to clean, ready for summer, a sale or a fresh coat of paint.

Yes. Water blasting, pressure washing and waterblasting are the same job: cleaning a hard surface with water at high pressure. Most New Zealanders say water blasting.

Can you water blast concrete?
Yes. Concrete driveways and paths are the most common job we do. Water blasting takes off the moss, dirt and black film that make concrete slippery in winter.
What happens to the dirty water?
Water blasting leaves dirty water and sludge pooled on the ground. Where that is a problem, we suck it up with the vacuum machines on our trucks, so it is not left sitting on your driveway or washed across the section.
Do you water blast before painting?
Yes. We clean off loose paint, dirt and moss so the surface is ready for the painter. Book it a few days ahead of the painter so everything is fully dry.
